Nicky is riding without training wheels! Feels like a real milestone. Our neighbor, Araceli and her son Anthony, gave us an old beater bike and that did the trick. Just the right size, just the right weight. In no time, Nicky was speeding around the block!

Scared Woody on the 4th of July
We are reunited with Dave and happy to be with family in Colorado. Today we spent Father’s Day at Coors Field. Well, actually, half way thru the game we realized Father’s Day is next weekend, but we kept celebrating. It was an eventful game: Dave caught a game ball, a tornado watch stopped the game for over an hour (and chased us out of the stadium), and the Rockies swept the Mariners.

For the first time, we drove over the bridge to Malaysia. Minutes a way and a world apart! We went to a golf resort where Dave and the boys hit balls and had a blast.

This morning I had to call the gas company b/c one of our tanks for our stove ran out. I called to order a new one and they arrived in 20 minutes with it! Then I called the Chicken Man to order a Chicken for dinner (cut up, no head). He’ll be here at 12:30 with the Chicken. Next I will call the dry cleaning girl to ask if she’ll pick up today rather than her usual Thursday. Sometimes it feels like you don’t have to go anywhere, you just need to manage all the people who come to you around here!
