UN Day

This week all the schools celebrated UN Week.  On Friday, the kids dressed in “native” dress or in colors from their home country’s flag.  Despite being an American school, there are a remarkable number of different countries represented in these children.  Many children have one American parent and one foreign parent.  For lunch, all the parents contributed a dish from their country.  The kids picked their lunch buffet style and got to try all kinds of foods.  Ben just loved it all.

(If you can’t tell, Ben’s teacher is from Canada!)
