When we moved here, the firm offered to ship two air crates. So, we came with the bare minimum. We packed mostly items we thought would make the boys comfortable…familiar sheets, books, toys. We packed a few stupid things – US appliances that I am now keeping in a box to bring BACK to the US! But, we certainly didn’t pack any furniture (couldn’t fit it!). Once we moved into this new house, we thought we could better fit our US belongings. So, we asked the firm if they would ship our stuff and they agreed. So, here it is. It is an absolutely overwhelming task to unpack and distribute this stuff. We have many, many, many duplicates of items. We have things we cannot possibly use here (snow coats, appliances, lamps) but we want to keep for our return. We have many things that simply do not fit into this house – even though this house is large. So, I will be having a HUGE garage sale.
